Three Tips To Keep You Writing

Getting tough equals lots more energy. A philosophy is just a back ground noise thing that guides our actions and pushes us toward our goals. If you have made a health decision to have more energy in your life it’s only a matter of how you will get there that could be holding you up.

On the Tuesday, I’ll begin by reading and revising the first three chapters. Because of the system, I seldom have to rewrite. Typically, I’ll find spelling errors or words that I couldn’t remember. Most have been marked but there’s usually the occasional mistake that got by me. I do put a limit on how much time I can spend editing, although I’ve never actually used the whole time. When I’ve finished rereading Monday’s work, I’ll go on and begin writing the next two chapters (four and five). I typically spend the afternoon working on my business by reading and best essay writing service emails, returning phone calls and researching.

There are a number of different methods for writing an eBook or writing a book. Or more correctly for getting a book. Some are good. Some are not so good. However, for this article I’m going to focus on actually writing an eBook yourself.

The key to good writing is to get into that state where the words just flow with ease and effortlessness. There are different ways to reach that creative flow, and you may need to experiment to find what works best for you. One of the keys to entering the state of flow is to simply focus on the step you’re on; in this case, the writing. You’ve already got your blueprint in place so you don’t need to worry about that, and you don’t need to worry about editing what you’re writing — that’s the next step. Try to bypass your inner critic. Don’t judge the work before you’re finished, or you may never finish: you’ll simply end up in the sticky web of perfectionist paralysis!

Where are you doing your writing? Whether you write at your office desk, in a coffee shop, or in an easy chair at home, make that space conducive to writing. For you, that might mean clearing off your desk, listening to inspiring music, or using your favorite pen.

And, at the end of the proverbial day, even if you’re unemployed, surely you’ll appreciate your situation better than most, right? Like a sentient dish-rag sublimely aware that it exists («cogito!») amidst all the spiritless dish-rags. That’s worth something, right?

Writing a book without a reader is like taking a trip without a destination. It can lead to some glorious surprises — but more likely to a sad conclusion. There is no point in writing an eBook that no one will read. But to be read, a book needs to interest the reader. It needs to draw them into it. To accomplish that, a writer must know before they start what will interest the reader. And then they must write that book. Not the one they started to write.

They’re one of an infinite number of ruses by your ego to protect you, to support you in staying in the writing safe zone, no matter now unproductive or unpleasant that zone is.
